In 1977 a group of Bella Vista Village Residents were concerned about the response time it took an ambulance from Bentonville to respond to an emergency call to Bella Vista. They got together and came up with the idea of a membership program to help finance the cost of housing ambulances right here in the Village. They formed a nonprofit corporation which is governed by a 9 member volunteer Board of Directors who serve for a 3 year term.

Our funding is primarily from the sales of membership contracts, fees charged to non-contract holders, donations and memorials and the acceptance of Medicare and insurance benefits on our members.

The annual membership fee is $40.00 to cover all members of a household that have insurance coverage. Guests may be covered for an additional $10.00 annual fee. If you do not have insurance coverage, a membership fee of $80.00 will cover your household and $100.00 annually will cover your guests.

We are one of the BEST Emergency Medical Services in the State of Arkansas. We are a State Certified and licensed Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance Service. We have Certified Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians manning 4 ALS equipped ambulances 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

When a 9-1-1 call goes out a Certified Paramedic and EMT arrive on the scene equipped with the best equipment available.
