The Plaza is a senior cooperative where residents living there together own the building. To live here you purchase a “share” in the cooperative. Through this purchase you become an owner and a member. The “share” price is based on the size of apartment you choose. A monthly fee covers a member’s portion of the costs associated with their apartment and the building – everything except their telephone. Upon moving from The Plaza, your share will be resold and you recapture your initial investment plus equity.
